To know her is to love her. She is vibrant. She is bold. She is a creative soul. She listens to hip hop music before leading her business meetings, always moving to her own beat. She wears her crown confidently. She prays fiercely and gives gratitude daily. She is pure - never basic. She has rhythm and unmatched flavor that everyone wants. She is the cool auntie and the life of the party. She might curse but will always encourage you. She is the culture. She lives the culture.

The Brown Girl Paper Company was created with you in mind, offering more choices and voices to the world of stationery. There are many layers to the culture’s dopeness, and The Brown Girl Paper Company celebrates them all. The brand designs quality stationery, greeting cards, affirmation notes, note cards, wrapping paper and more. The Brown Girl Paper Company is meant to honor women of color, Black Joy and all things that celebrate Black people.

Born and raised in New York City, hustle and creativity embodies Tyeast. It is simply who she is through and through. Tyeast has always been comfortable in her own brown skin, of which she credits her upbringing and her close-knit family. She grew up with heavy influence and exposure to the arts. She was always surrounded by love and had a strong sense of pride in her culture – be that in her unique name, her traditions and her tight sister-girl friendships.

So it is no surprise that Tyeast stepped up and created The Brown Girl Paper Company after realizing that there was limited Black representation within the world of stationery. With her brand, Tyeast’s products not only honor all things that celebrate Black Joy and Black Love, but also features uplifting affirmations and cultural humor. The HBCU alum aims to make customizable products that speak to the positivity and diversity of Black culture, and she is doing just that.

Tyeast has even been featured on Spectrum News 1, connecting with the Black community and showcasing The Brown Girl Paper Company products. She is passionate about her vision and wants people of color, specifically women, to find comfort in always seeing themselves authentically represented in her brand.
